Mary is a visual artist working within the fields of sculpture, drawing and installation. Her practice examines the relationship between B O D Y and W A T E R. She lives and works in Falmouth, Cornwall where life is deeply embedded in the transitory spaces of the shoreline. Regular sea swimming and pilot gig rowing fuel a fixation with water that seeps through to her visual practice. With an embodied approach to process, Mary’s work considers how the materiality of water can describe how we, as bodies, are connected to our environments and each other.
